Research shows Connectivity Centres an exemplar of social procurement in action

April 2024

This week we celebrated the conclusion of a major research project looking at the opportunities and risks that social procurement creates for young people and the construction industry.

Part of a 4-year Australian Research Council Linkage Grant in collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), the research used our Connectivity Centre model to show how a collaborative approach to social procurement could help solve Australia’s youth unemployment problem.

We bought together more than 65 Connectivity Centre, UTS and Multiplex stakeholders to share the research and tour the new Western Sydney International Airport terminal currently under construction by Multiplex.
